Busy! Busy! Busy! Almost no time to blog!

Well it's been a seriously busy last few weeks, and my blog is a bit tardy because of it! First up was my regular slot at The Grosvenor on 21st July. Although I was competing with the glorious sunshine that beckoned people to the beach rather than staying indoors, a few trusty regulars made the effort to attend, and we all had a really lovely time. I threw in a few Matt Monro numbers by special request from my special fans. Thanks guys, you know who you are!  This was followed by 'Andy's Farewell Event' at the Latest Music Bar on 26th July. I was sharing the bill with Trudie Styles & The Pianoman. After a slow start, the crowd were ready to party, and party we did!It was all good fun, and a fitting send off for Andy who was leaving us for a new life in Peterborough and London. Good luck mate! Then of course I had my regular gig at The Rabbit Hole Bar on 3rd August. This was Brighton Pride weekend so people were in town for the weekend to savour the delights the town has to offer. Thanks to those who chose to come and see me in the evening, following the rigours of the Pride parade and Preston Park. I really enjoyed the evening in the company of old friends and new.  And last, but by no means least, was my return on 14th August to Bois Night Out at The Candy Bar in London's Soho. I really love this gig! It's such an 'up for it crowd'. Thanks to the host Adam 'All and the very glamourous Apple Derrieres. I'm really looking forward to participating in their new venture 'BoiBox' in the near future. |
